PENABUR PLUS CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL Cirebon presents students work as a result of the learning process in the form of a short story anthology book entitled “Siluet Matahari”. This 127-page book contains 11 works by students which are students’ creations in learning Bahasa Indonesia.

“It is excellent and very good. Students can learning Bahasa Indonesia in the form of literary works that can be enjoyed by others ... "said Mr. Sunu, the teacher of Bahasa Indonesia. The program of compiling literary works is also a result of the School Literacy Movement Activities carried out by SMA KRISTEN PLUS PENABUR Cirebon.

The School Literacy Movement not only supports reading skills, but also comprehends reading, eventually being able to apply and communicate acquired understanding. In learning Bahasa Indonesia, students are also challenged to be able to make literary works. Through an intensive process of guidance and discussion the students’ work was finally finished.

"We hope this can inspire other students to enjoy reading and expressing ideas, expressing thoughts, and showing their creativity in a product that can be enjoyed by others" commented Agnez Saputri as coordinator of the School Literacy Movement who also serves as a librarian at SMAK PLUS PENABUR Cirebon.
